Community Health Workers: An Underappreciated Asset to Tackle NCD

Abstract

NCD are an urgent social, economic, and health issue, and we need solutions at the community level to tackle them. There is dearth of skilled health force to tackle the challenges posed by NCD. Training and empowering community health workers present a secret weapon to combating NCD.
